Speed limiters are NOT the answer, unless they want more wrecks from frustrated drivers because all the buses are now running side by side and NOBODY can pass. This will cause maximum congestion and dangerous passing manuevers from motorists. It will look like ice road truckers in India. The Answer to their bus wreck problem is hiring competent people to drive their bus’s! Speed limiters will not help at all.
After research, we noticed this is not the only deadly accident involving Metro Mass Transit buses. An accident occurred on August 16, 2010, 4AM at Koni-Kablu near Dawa when a MMT bus travelling from Mepe in the Volta Region to Accra crashed into a stationary truck parked on the shoulder of the road.
